Google LLC, formerly Google Inc. (1998-2017) or simply Google is a search engine that controls more than 80% of users. Today, users without a phone, computer, laptop or other device can access the Internet without leaving Google. It is not that there are no other search engines in the world of the Internet, but that Google has conquered the market and the hearts of users after its launch, because it is very convenient and easy to use.
This American search engine was founded in 1998 by Sergey Brin and Larry Page and is a subsidiary of the holding company Alphabet Inc. Google is based in Mountain View, California. Google started out as a search engine, but today offers more than 50 internet services.
ANCIENT HISTORY – FOUNDATION AND SOCIETY
The Google search engine was developed in 1998 by two graduate Stanford universities, Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Google was founded in 1996 from the Page Hostel in Stanford to develop a new type of search technology. Page and Brin nicknamed the new search engine BackRub because they checked the links back to assess the importance of the site. The two sponsors started fundraising and raised about $1 million from investors, family and friends, and opened a company in Menlo Park, California, called Google.
An interesting fact about the name Google is that it is a misspelled google word (a mathematical term for the number one followed by 100 zeros) that Larry Page wanted to invoke in a search engine.
The response to the new search engine was excellent and within two years of its launch in 2000, Google began processing more than 500,000 searches per day.
In 200o, Google became a customer of Yahoo, the most famous search engine of the time. When it was purchased in 2004, Google’s popularity was such that it was consulted more than 250 million times a day.

GOOGLE FLIGHT UNTIL 2005
Google’s popularity dates back to the first decade of the 21st century. At the end of the 19th century it was the seventh place among cloud computers. In 2010, it processed more than 3 billion requests, yes, it reviewed 3 billion investigative requests per day. Google has not limited itself to a search engine, but has expanded to almost all Internet-related services, offering services designed for work and performance, mainly for official use – Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slide), e-mail services with Gmail, scheduling and time management with Google Calendar, cloud storage with Google Disc, Instant messaging and video chat applications such as Duo, Hangouts, Chat and Meet, language translation with Google Translate, mapping and navigation with Google Maps, Waze, Google Earth and Street View, podcast hosting with Google Podcast, video sharing with YouTube, Blogger application for blog posts, Google Keep and Google Jamboard entries, and organizing and editing photos and storing them with Google Photos.
Today, Google is a leading developer of the Android mobile operating system, the web browser Google Chrome, and is Chrome OS, a lightweight operating system based on the Chrome browser, the most popular application on computers and smartphones.
Between 2010 and 2015, Google will increasingly enter the hardware market and collaborate with leading electronics manufacturers to produce its Google Nexus devices. In October 2016, Google launched several hardware products, including the Google Pixel Smartphone, the Google Smartphone Column, the Google Wifi Mesh Wireless Router and the Google Daydream Virtual Reality Headset. Google is also experimenting with Google Fiber, Google Fi and Google Station to become an Internet Service Provider. Recently, Google also announced the creation of the world’s first quantum computer, SYCAMORE.

Google has established itself as market leader for this decade. It is one of the most valuable brands on the market today. Google has been the second most valuable brand in the world for four consecutive years, after Apple Inc. in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, with an estimated value of $133 billion. As of October 2016, Google will have 70 offices in more than 40 countries.
Alexa, the company that tracks commercial traffic on the web, calls Google.com the most visited website in the world. Several other Google services are also among the top 100 most visited sites, including YouTube. In October 2019, Google was ranked as the most visited multi-platform website in the United States, with nearly 259 million unique visitors in the United States and a market share of 63% among the top U.S. search engine providers. The market capitalisation of the parent company Alphabet was estimated at USD 825 billion in September 2019.
REAL LEADERSHIP ON GOOGLE
In December 2019, Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin announced that Sundar Pichai would become the CEO of Alphabet, while Page and Brin withdrew from their executive positions. Previously, Larry Pichai was the CEO of Google’s parent company in alphabetical order and Pichai was only the head of Google, but now Sundar Pichai will be the CEO of Google and the parent company in alphabetical order.
